Symone Sanders, senior adviser and chief spokeswoman to Vice President Kamala Harris, is planning to leave the White House at the end of the year, a White House official said.
Ms. Sanders worked for Ms. Harris during the general election campaign and during the transition.
Ms. Sanders’s departure follows the announcement of Ashley Etienne, the vice president’s communications director, who recently said she would be leaving the White House this month.
The official didn’t comment on the reason for Ms. Sanders’s departure.
